And how does this make a difference to the DTMF tones not being accepted?

I have made the change to the script for tomorrows calls but don't see how this is the issue.

Lee

The calls are outbound to patients and so would be predominantly British Telecom Land lines but would also include Cable Phones from people like Virgin Cable etc. The number of times this is happening is about 20 to 30 a day out of 400 or 500 calls so not an insignificant amount. If it was 5 or so I...

This is happening with UK landlines and has happened a number of times so I would rule out any particular handset. Scott Wilson advises me that you did not receive my email regarding this which I have copied below. I have also provided the main script as Scott says you think it could be VXML program...

If you request a remote audio file, does it get cached on your server or is the request and download made every single time the file is required? Just thinking, rather than there being a lot of bandwidth taken up by shipping audio files about, and if I cannot rename the files on your system that if ...

Renaming Audio Files in Repository

Hi Support, Is it possible to rename the files held in the repository rather than them being the pinnumber_?.wav where ? is a number. Reason being that I wish to be able to programmatically be able to call hour_1.wav, hour_2.wav etc rather than having to have a list of which file is holding the 1 an...

DTMF tones issue

I have a script which would appear to have intermittent problems receiving DTMF tones. Here is a sample of the log from a call where the user WAS pressing an appropriate key but as you can see 'noinput' was activated: The script handling the menu in question is also below ### Script ### <menu id="me...

UK voice Recording Number

Hi Support,

Is there a UK number that you can call into to record voice clips into your audio repository as the only number I can find is an american one.

Many Thanks,

With regards the error catching, if I wanted to have a different action performed depending on where the error occurred within the script, would I simply add additional error catch statements in and if so, where in the structure would they go. Effectively it is only when I post an update to the remo...

Voice and answering machine issues.

Hi Support, I have a couple of queries regarding the following script. 1. If the user enters no response in the menu elements, the voice reverts back from the UK Female voice of Millie to the american male voice, can this be changed in anyway. I have tried a number of different options but they eith...

Sample code

Hi Support, I have tried all manner of combinations as per the technical documentation, i.e. as a property, as a voice tag inside the prompt etc but with no luck, it keeps playing it with a male voice. I have even used the examples etc. Any chance you can demonstrate what is required in the followin...

Hi Support, I have posted your code directly from the page to the answering machine file that is played only when an answering machine is dialled. The system does not leave any message but I would have expected "This is the audio that should be heard after the answering machine." to be left as a mes...
