I'm looking at SIP as an alternative to carry international traffic.
Are there any plans to offer direct SIP support in the Plum telephony gateway?

Do you support SIP?
We are looking at SIP as alternative to carry international traffic by providing an end-to-end type of solution.
Does your telephony gateway provide a SIP interface option or would we have to provide an external conversion from SIP to a PRI interface ourselves?

Determine Channel Busy Rates
I assume the web interface does not provide any type of busy channel reports. I would like to know the highest number of channels that were busy in a given hour. So, I assume I can scan the session log's inbound records & grab the highest channel number for each hour? Would this be the best way to s...

To cache or not to cache
I'm using php to pitch vxml, i.e. a php script with embedded vxml. I'm about to launch an application into production. I'm will also continue to be in a heavy developmental mode. I am trying to weight the pro's & con's of caching. From reading this forum about caching related issues, I'm not sure wh...

Static during the playing of audio files
I have done that already three times with zero results.
I have checked with the telco & they have tested the circuit & it seems to test out just fine.
I'm dead in the water until my client reactivates their support contract.

Static during the playing of audio files
The system was working fine, then
I called the system & every port was busy.
I restarted the server, then the ports would answer but I hear a significant amount of static as the voice files are playing.
I have reported this to the teleco, but is it possible that the dialogic boards are going bad?

ecmascript error on substr attempt
I want to use substr to pick off the "3" in "13" contained in "quizno" & use it as an index to retrieve & speak the value "four" from the array. I am getting the following error... VXI::var_element(name="quiz_ans" expr = "subd.myarray[quizno.substr(1)]") errmsg TypeError: quizno.substr is not a func...

Dynamically change a directory name
Actually I pick up the idea from one of your other forum topics called "inline variables". Thanks again.

Dynamically change a directory name
I was able to make it work using the following method which is something like you mentioned in your first reply. I did not include all of the script entries just the ones that were affected. Any comments about this method? <?php // this keeps PHP from interpolating <session /> tags in our script ob_...

Dynamically change a directory name
Is it possible to dynamically change a directory name in <audio src=? If so, how? In the example below I would like to change the value of an expression like "$lang_dir" to equal the sub-directory name "english" or "spanish". Thus changing the directory path. <audio src="http://incentivesonline.com/...

Wav file play interruption
I call the system, the playing of the first wav file “welcome.wav” is aborted in midstream, the system says “I’m sorry, I did not understand that”, then the system proceeds on to the next prompt. I got this symptom yesterday & today, but last night it seemed to work fine. I would attach log files fo...

PHP Script Generators
I am starting to convert an IVR application from an old DOS platform to Plum. I have been around IVR for a good while, but web development at the script level is less familiar to me. There are some programs like PHPMagic that will generate applications written in PHP that can connect to MySQL databa...
