Plum is unable to detect Cellphone answering system

Plum is unable to detect Cellphone answering system.

I am trying to implement the VXML logic such that if outbound call answered by answering machine then it has to just play message and disconnect if answered by the human then it should prompt for interaction. It is working nice on PSTN phone lines but if the oubound call goes to cellphone then it is not working. Any help in this regard is greatly appriciated.

IVR platform with distinguising a cell's answering machine

Does it not work with your cell phone answering system or all cell phone answering systems? We've tested our callee type detection algorithm against a wide variety of voicemail systems and it has proven reliable. However, depending on how your voicemail is set up with your mobile provider, it may be, from the IVR platform's point of view, indistinguishable from a normal person picking up the phone.
