Link to the voice files

Hi,

We need to provide a link in our application whereby the users can listen to the response of calls. We found the following url in your site from where we can access the voice files. "http://survey.plumvoice.com/record/mp3s ... da814bfed2"

Is possible to send the value of the queystring variable "h" to the Soap webservice of our system, along with the answers of the questions, so that we can provide a link to our users to listen to the voice files.

We look forward to your response.

Thanks ,

IVR survey site has no link to the voice audio files

Hi,

While we don't provide a link to the voice audio files, you can use the Audio.zip button to download audio responses.

http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... _Responses
http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... _Responses

This allows you to download audio responses from the IVR question type, Comments. If you disabled speech recognition for your IVR survey, you would also be able to download audio responses for Full Name, Full Address, and City,State/Province.

From Rob in a recent email to Wendy: When we had our initial questions, I explicitly asked if you could provide a link to us for the voicemails, and that we would have that as part of our application.

The answer was yes. However, in the answer from the support forum it says that you don't provide the link.

We need the link to make this work effectively..I have spent way too much money on this to not be able to use it now.

This should be a simple item that your team can provide as one of the response results.

Thanks ,

how to automatically download data from IVR survey platform

Voice recordings, as captured through a "Comment" question type for IVR, are not saved until the end of the IVR call. You will be able to access them after an IVR call by downloading a .zip file of all recordings. The previously referenced documentation will provide you with instructions on how to automatically download this data from the IVR survey platform. It should be simple for you to write an automated IVR script that extracts the recording/voicemail from the .zip file for your customers to listen to.

This answer is NOT good enough.

We were told that a link would be provided so that we could provide that link in our application interface.

I had even asked where the voice recording was going to be stored, the response was at PV, I had asked for how long, indefinately until I (reposystems.com) deleted it, etc.

We need to come up with a solution, quickly.

Sincerely
Rob L.

recordings not deleted from IVR servers until you do it

We will provide a link to the IVR audio file from our admin interface so that you can listen to your recordings. This link will only function if you are logged in and administering your IVR surveys. The recordings will not be deleted from our IVR servers until you delete them explicitly.

However, in order to give others access to recordings, you should not hotlink them directly from survey.plumvoice.com. Please use one of our IVR webservices to download them so that you can host them within your own IVR application.

Please refer to the documentation here for details:

All of these features are currently active in your free demo account so you shouldn't run into any difficulties using it.
