How to let the client leave a message?

Postby wzhang09 » Fri Oct 16, 2009 3:19 pm

Hi,

In Survey Tool, we need to end a page to let customer leave a message, please let me know how to configure that and use which option from IVR side to store the message?

If we have format like:
1. City Name
2. State:
3. Zip code:
4: Street number and name
How to configure them to allow the customer answer each of them?

Thanks!

Hi wzhang09,

To answer your first question, to leave a message, you could use the "comments" question type for IVR . To find out more information about how to use this question type, you can view it here: http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... _Questions

About your formats:

You wouldn't be able to capture "1. City Name" and "2. State" individually, but you would be able to capture this information combined by using our question type, "City,State/Province", for IVR. For more information on how to use this question type, you can view it here: http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... _Questions

To capture "3. Zip code", you can use the question type for IVR, "Zip/Postal Code". For more information on how to use this question type, you can view it here: http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... _Questions

To capture "4. Street number and name", you wouldn't be able to capture this information individually, but you can use the question type, "Full Address" for IVR. This would allow you to capture the street address, the city, the state, and the zip code all into one. For more information on how to use this IVR question type, you can view it here: http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... _Questions

Hope this helps.
