Hi,
1) You can't slow down the speed of the TTS through the survey tool as this is off-the-shelf software.
2) You could spell out the words phonetically (i.e. rec-ord vs ree-cord) for the TTS to read the words how you want them to be said.
Alternatively, you could use the Audio Manager within the survey tool to create recordings for your prompts and make them sound less robotic. For information on how to do this, you can view the documentation here.
Regarding your last question, we are currently working on a new feature that will allow you to skip through the question text.
