Setting up inbound

Post by wrothman@dealermagic.net »

When establishing an inbound call campaign, is it necessary to send data (such as a transaction code or other variables) using csv or can it be done with the SOAP module?

Hi,

Could you please clarify further on what you mean by establishing an inbound call campaign?

This would help us better understand what you're trying to accomplish.

Perhaps campaign was the wrong word. I have a transaction occurring on my website that generates a unique transaction code and one or more other data fields. I want the unique transaction code to reside in the simple table so that when an inbound caller calls, we can select the right row for his responses.

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for the clarification.

To answer your question, you will need to use CSV to push your data (transaction code and your other variables) into the simple table. For more information, you can see here: http://synappsdocs.plumvoice.com/api/sdb_upload_csv

You would not be able to use the SOAP module for this purpose.

Hope this helps.
