Hello,
I'm having a very strange and frustraighting problem with mp3s. I converted 6 of WAV files to mp3 and was moving forward with mp3 as the audio format I would be using. The problem I'm facing is 3 of my converted mp3s. will not play in the executing VXML. All the files were converted with LAME and 4 of them work fine.
For the 4 that work in the vxml logs I see the following message:
Decoding MP3 22050 Hz 1 channel(s) and downsampling by 0.362812
I do not see that message for the 3 that do not work. I've looked at the 3 files that don't work, they have the proper format and everthing.
Any ideas as to what can be causing this?
Thanks,
Rob

updated version of IVR platform to resolve mp3 issues
There is an updated version of the Plum VoiceXML platform that will roll to production by the end of the week that should resolve your MP3 compatibility issues. We will post here when the IVR upgrade has been successfully completed so you can try your MP3 files again.
