soaptester - any documents or examples

Post by vikas »

Where can I find more document / examples on Soaptester utility.
I am using below URL.

It asks for WSDL location. Do I need to upload my WSDL?
Currently I have my WSDL locally on my laptop.

Hi Vikas,

The SOAP tester is just a tool to check that the URL to your WSDL is valid and functions at a high level. You can learn more information about what the tool is used for and what headlines mean by clicking the "Help" question mark in the upper right hand corner. When you are ready to test your WSDL, you can paste the link into the field marked "Enter a WSDL". From there, if the link works, new fields will appear and you can populate those fields with values to test out a request to your WSDL. Please note that your WSDL needs to be published in order for you to use the SOAP tester. We hope this helps.
