Salesforce Case Integration

Post by digitaltarget »

Hello,

I'm looking to have Salesforce cases opened during our IVR flow.

We have Email-to-Case setup in sales force so an email would do it, however, it doesn't look like recordings are attached to the emails sent from my quickfuse app. Is there a workaround for this?

The other option is to open salesforce cases using the salesforce api, how would i go about integrating it into our quickfuse apps?
API Documentation is location at: https://developer.salesforce.com/page/W ... umentation

Thank you,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

You cannot attach anything to emails sent from Fuse, but you could include a URL to the audio file.

Fuse can integrate with REST or SOAP webservice, but functionality is limited. We reviewed the docs you sent briefly and just based on the OAuth requirement, Fuse is not compatible with Salesforce's API.

There is currently a newer version of Fuse called Fuse+ that boasts much more flexibility integrating with webservices. If integrating with Salesforce is a hard requirement, we highly recommend migrating your application to the newer Fuse+: http://www.plumvoice.com/products/plum-fuse/

Please contact your account manager if you would like to sign up for a Fuse+ trial.
